traversly

We are building something for people who walk a long way.

Not a weekend loop. Days, or weeks, on the trails that cross Europe.

Who this is for

People who walk for days, out of signal, with unreliable information

Pilgrims

Walking the Camino

Often a first long walk, at any age. You won't know if today's albergue has a bed until you're standing in front of it.

European trekkers

GR20, Alta Via, TMB, GR11

Refuge booking opens on a date you already have to know, in a system that assumes you speak the language.

Thru-hiker-adjacent

Looking for the European equivalent

You know how a thru-hike is supposed to feel. Nobody has written down what the European version is.

Who's behind it

traversly is being built by the two people behind droply, the water-source app used by hikers in more than 60 countries.

Before that, we walked sections of the Continental Divide Trail and spent a lot of evenings trying to work out where the next bed was.

Know when it's ready

One email when there's something to say. Usually about once a month.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is traversly?

An app for long-distance walking in Europe, currently in development. We are not saying much more yet.

When will it be available?

We are not fixing a date publicly. The newsletter is where we will say it first.

Who is building it?

Two people. Read more on the author profiles for Micha and Nathalie.

Will it cover [trail]?

Reply to the newsletter and tell us which one, or email hello@traversly.app. It genuinely affects the order we work in.

Still deciding?

Get on the list anyway. We'll only write when there's something worth saying.
